The sleeping loft above the living room is for mom and dad. However, the very dry and cheery room below grade can accommodate the kids. There is a full bath both on the main floor and below grade.

Traditional knotty pine paneling and wonderful wood joinery and stone fireplace are features of the main room. Perimeter rooms enjoy the incredible lake views.

We have DSL with wireless antenna for your enjoyment. The television is limited to a few channels. Bring DVD's if you like to watch movies in the evening.

Eighteen Feet by 100 feet of Shore Frontage for Cars.
The shore side features its own 40' pier structure and boat ramp as well. This is where mail is delivered (1 Treasure Island, Rochester, Indiana 46975). The land runs from the water to the street.

Please keep our system perking along by putting all man-made waste (except toilet paper) in the garbage can next to the house.

Massive seawall to keep the island whole. This makes a wonderful walkway.

Full alarm system for burglary, fire, heat failure, and sump.
We keep the alarm for fire and to notify us in California if the heater or sump should fail in the winter.

Concrete boat ramps in place at island and shore side.
Great for launching kayaks and canoes. Also used to bring piers in for the winter. Take great care, the wet concrete can be like ice. Roll out the carpet for footing.

If you plan a special occasion and entertaining, the front pier will move people on and off with ease.

Great for water toys and lake inner tubes--but installed to blow out the irrigation lines with compressed air when closing for the winter.

Off the island point, floats on the water, connected by ramp to the island. Perimeter pin lights lure fish at night.

Pin lights line all island walkways--competition for the fire flies. Also lanterns at twenty foot intervals on the sea wall. By tradition these stay lit year round; a promise of summers to come, and a navigation aid to those on the lake at night.

A Pontoon is available for your coming and going.
You have the use of an eighteen foot pontoon for your stay. We can arrange the rental of a ski boat if you are an experienced operator.

Decks, decks, decks
Two levels of decks off the home for grand entertaining. Hot tub in place. Indirect lighting. Very large deck on point off the swim deck--can accommodate 100 for a wedding. Alice's deck on the wild side of the island is approx. 30'x30' and can take a tent for the kids.

Privacy but not Isolation
Easy access to both wilderness and fun on the lake. You can by turns ski, swim, fish, or explore the natural world. Enough smiling faces to do Norman Rockwell proud.

Fly in to Indianapolis or Chicago. Even better for the private pilot with Fulton County airport practically at shore side. Approx. 65 miles from Notre Dame and 65 miles from Purdue.
